Objective To analyze the relapse of 212 patients with first febrile seizures (FC) and 11 related factors that may cause recurrence, and to provide effective prevention and treatment measures to reduce the recurrence of FC. Methods A total of 212 children with first seizure of febrile seizures were randomly selected and followed up for 2-4 years. Multivariate regression analysis was performed on 11 factors that affected relapse. Results The recurrence rate of the first febrile seizures was 59.6%, and was negatively correlated with body temperature and age at onset. It was positively correlated with family history, recurrent upper respiratory tract infection and malnutrition. It had no correlation with gender, perinatal, rickets, anemia and feeding patterns . Conclusion Because FC can cause convulsive brain injury and reduce or control the recurrence of FC, we can start from the prevention or treatment of the above five factors that cause FC recurrence to reduce or prevent the intelligent injury in children.
