在准噶尔盆地北缘平原区土壤pH值为8.45的生境条件下通过9年豆科牧草引种试验,证明百脉根在抗热、抗病虫害、耐涝性和使用年限方面优于其它豆科牧草,并证实了百脉根自然繁衍的种性特点和具有自然更新复壮、防止草场退化的能力;由百脉根更新的草场提高产草量2倍以上,粗蛋白质、粗脂肪分别提高7倍以上和4倍;用百脉根补播改良灌溉草场简单易行,适宜牧区生产条件,在我国南北方适宜地区具有广阔的推广前景。
