《乐记》作为先秦儒学音乐思想的代表作,其丰富的美学思想,对两千多年来汉民族音乐的发展有着深刻的影响,并在世界音乐思想史上占有重要的地位。其中《乐化》篇中说明了音乐与人的心理、品性以及政治之间的关系,旨在用音乐提高“君子”的道德修养,对人民实行教化,实现整个天下的大治。其中提出“乐者乐也”的命题,揭示了音乐本源问题,认为音乐是快乐、欢乐之情的表现,欢乐是人之性情与生就有的,通过相应的声音、动作表现,这是自然之道。本文从对“乐乐”之释义论证出发,结合文字象形、音乐起源以及古代文献记载等方面,对“乐”字两种读音的意义分别作出详细解释,对“乐者乐也”命题更深入地理解,从而分析“乐Yuè”与“乐Lè”之间存在的密切联系,以及由此引发了有关音乐教育的感想。
