[Objective] To research on the extraction, purification and chemical structure of polysaccharides in Dicliptera chinensis( L.)Ness. [Methods] Polysaccharides were extracted from D. chinensis by combining the water extraction method with the Sevag deproteinization method and ethanol extraction method. D. chinensis polysaccharides were purified by DEAE-52 cellulose chromatography and Sephadex G-150 chromatography. Based the detection of the impurity, the monosaccharide composition of D. chinensis polysaccharides was analyzed. [Results]The purified polysaccharides were pure polysaccharide components. Infrared spectrogram showed that D. chinensis polysaccharides had typical structure of polysaccharides. Analysis of gas chromatography found out that D. chinensis polysaccharides were mainly composed of fucose, arabinose, xylose, mannose, glucose and galactose. [Conclusions]The extraction, purification and detection methods in this research were rapid, accurate and stable, which provided foundation for the activity research of D. chinensis polysaccharides in future.
