蒙古族曲艺曲种。流行于内蒙古自治区以及其他省区蒙古族聚居区。是在继承蒙古族民间艺术幽默讽刺传统的基础上,吸收汉族相声的一些表演手法,于20世纪50年代后期发展形成的。用蒙古族语言表演。以说为主,兼有学、唱,讲求逗乐。节目通常以辛辣的语言讽刺和鞭挞社会上的丑恶现象,或以幽默的语言讴歌和赞颂美好的事物,使人们在笑声中得到启示和教益。其表演语言的运用,有散有韵,散韵结合,广泛汲取蒙古族的民间谚语、俗语和笑话,采用排比、对比、夸张、双关等修辞手段,表达思想,体现主题。演出形式多为二人对话的“对口”形式。比较优秀的代表性节目有《好相识》、《松树》和《爱情之歌》等,也有一些从汉语相声编译过来即移植演出的段子。
