前言确定一个坝是否足够稳定的常规方法,是建立在抗剪切破坏的安全系数基础之上的。但这种方法不能提供大坝断面中所产生的任何应力与变形的资料,因此不能揭示出设计断面内任何潜在的弱点,这可能导致建筑物在运行期间发生故障。有限元法是解决各种连续介质力学问题的有力工具。在其许多用途中,包括解决各种土坝问题,如计算土坝心墙和坝壳的内部变形、求出大坝断面中的应力分布及荷载传递以及确定拉应力产生潜在裂缝区的部位
Foreword The conventional method of determining whether a dam is sufficiently stable is based on the safety factor of anti-shear failure. However, this method does not provide any information about the stresses and deformations that occur in the dam section and therefore does not reveal any potential weaknesses in the design section, which could lead to the failure of the building during operation. Finite element method is a powerful tool to solve a variety of continuum mechanics problems. In many of its uses, including solving various earth-dam problems, such as calculating the internal deformation of earth-dam walls and dam shells, finding out the stress distribution and load transfer in the dam section and determining the location where the tensile stress generates the potential fracture zone
