随着畜牧业的大发展,需要的饲料将日益增多。在人平不到1.5亩耕地的东乡县以压缩水稻面积来发展玉米,群众是不会接受的,而只有走间作套种玉米的路子。1986年以来我县狠抓了间作套种发展玉米的有力措施,获得了显著的成效。1987年全县实收玉米7053.3亩,其中间作套种面积2407亩,占34.13％。玉米总产3118128.5斤,其中间作套种玉米554332.1斤,占17.43％。间作套种玉米深受群众欢迎,它是稻作区发展玉米的出路所在。
With the great development of animal husbandry, the amount of feed needed will increase day by day. In Dongxiang County, where less than 1.5 mu of cultivated land is cultivated, corn is not compressed by the area of compressed rice, but only intercropped with corn.
