From April 8 to April 11, the Swissôtel Beijing Hong Kong Macau Center and the Slovak Embassy held a four-day cultural exchange program with the theme of “Slovakian taste”, which is the first time the hotel has hosted such a theme event. It coincides with the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Sri Lanka, but the reason for this is obviously not the case here. “Why is the protagonist of this event a small country in central Europe? First of all out of personal touch, because I am a native Slovak! ” From the beginning of such a sensible answer, the general manager of Swissôtel Beijing Hong Kong and Macao Center Yan Wei Ke readers of the “Culture Monthly” tells the story behind this event and more about the country of Slovakia.
