《美术课程标准》指出:“尽可能运用自然环境资源(如自然景观、自然材料)以及校园和社会中的资源进行美术教学。”对于农村学校的美术教学,如何开发利用农村资源是我们农村美术教师正在探索研究的问题,不妨让我们到田野中去看一看,你会发现,田野里千姿百态傲立风中的高粱杆正是美术创作的资源,一种创作的灵感与欲望会让你油然而生。于是与学生一同走进大自然,去观察、去发现、去想象、去创造,就会制作出一系列的高粱杆艺术造型。高粱杆是我国北方普遍种植的农作物,因此取材比较方便,又由于高粱杆比较容易加工,而且表皮和内瓤是软、硬两种不同材料,可以制成线、面结合的工艺品。因此高粱杆制作在我国北方是常见的手工技艺。
