Rimbaud’s poems are characterized by the break of linguistic conventions and sensory habits, which not only provide the critics with multiple interpretations of space, but also set impenetrable barriers for translators. Due to the difference between Chinese and French codes in two languages and the difference in cultural background, it is very difficult for the Chinese translations to preserve the entire cultural connotations and interpersonal relations of the original works because of the poet’s unique use of native languages. However, due to the unique grammatical means and lexical resources of Chinese, Chinese translators may also appreciate in some aspects compared with the original because of the unique use of Chinese by each translator. The overall pursuit of match. This paper analyzes the examples of the translated versions of “Lots of Color Pictures” in Lange’s poems and ponders over these “gains” and “losses” in the process of the translation of poems.
