受日本外务省邀请,本刊记者王涛于2005年2月7-17日赴日本进行采访。作为第一位受到日本官方邀请全面采访日本武术的体育记者,王涛在为期11天的日本之行中深入了解了空手道、柔道、剑道、居合道、合气道、忍术等日本传统武术的历史和现状,独家采访了K-1等现代比赛的商业化运作模式,并追踪中国武术人在日本传播武术的甘苦生活。日本武术和中国武术有着深厚的历史渊源,像空手道、合气道、剑道这些源自中华武术的武道,在日本独特的民族和历史环境下,通过特定的人物,逐渐风格独辟、自成一体。例如柔道的成功进入奥运会之路、从空手道比赛逐渐沿革出的K-1商业化比赛运作模式,这些不同的发展道路有很多值得中国武术借鉴的地方。本刊从第四期开始连载本刊记者王涛赴日采访日记--《日本武术报道》,敬请广大读者留意。
