直流等离子体离子化检测器是60年代发展起来的。Lovelock等人首先采用氦气为工作气体,研究成功在减压条件下工作的直流等离子体检测器,引起人们极大的关注。1987年Beres设计出一种常压下工作的氩直流等离子体离子化检测器,灵敏度和线性范围比氢火焰离子化检测器还好。
DC plasma ionization detector was developed in the 60s. First of all, Lovelock et al. Used helium as the working gas to study the successful DC plasma detector working under reduced pressure, arousing great concern. In 1987, Beres designed an argon DC plasma ionization detector operating at atmospheric pressure with better sensitivity and linearity than the hydrogen flame ionization detector.
