１９８５年～１９９３年间手术治疗肾盂输尿管连接部梗阻患者３２例，９例病理标本作了透射电镜观察，并与正常标本对照，发现９例病理标本虽临床梗阻原因各异，但均可见平滑肌细胞互相分离，细胞间有大量胶原纤维增生、胞膜下有空泡、线粒体出现肿胀、空泡等变化。说明梗阻部位平滑肌对蠕动波信息传导已受到损害，对该病病因研究和手术方式选择有一定意义。
