With the reduction of cutting allowance and the application of new production organization means, higher requirements are put forward on the flexibility, the Justin time and the quality in machining. This paper compares the cutting process in Europe and Japan, analyzes the traditional process, namely rough cutting, semi-precision cutting and precision cutting, the workpiece blank is formed by the forming process, that is, forgings or stampings or malleable cast iron, etc .; pointed out The advantage of replacing the traditional process with the small margin process in mass mass production, as well as the requirements of the rough, cutting tools and cutting conditions.
