Tum statin and Canstatin are the newly discovered basement membrane-derived human collagen tumor angiogenesis inhibitors after Restin, angiostatin and endostatin. Tumstatin is derived from the α3 chain of collagen and its N - terminal 5 4 ~ 132 amino acid peptide can inhibit the proliferation of endothelial cells and induce the apoptosis of endothelial cells. Tumstatin has the function of 197 ~ 215 amino acids [α3 (NC1185 ~ 203 amino acids) Peptides can inhibit the proliferation of a variety of malignant cells. Canstatin is a 24 kD angiogenic and tumor growth-inhibiting factor derived from the α2 chain of type collagen. It can inhibit the formation of tubular structures in endothelial cells in a dose-dependent manner, effectively inhibiting the proliferation and migration of endothelial cells and inducing endothelial cell apoptosis Death. Tum-statin and Canstatin both showed significant inhibitory effects on the growth of solid tumors in vivo in a mouse xenograft model
