This paper briefly introduces the overview of cooling storage ring power system of heavy ion accelerator in Lanzhou, points out the main difficulties in the construction of power supply system and the necessity of designing a prototype of high power thyristor pulse power supply, and details the completed silicon controlled impulse Power prototype implementation plan, circuit theory, key technologies and test results.
