目前,最常用的改性沥青是SBS改性混合料的方法,本文介绍了SBS改性沥青混合料配合比设计、高温稳定性验证、低温抗裂性验证和水稳定性验证等各种路用性能验证,以及在湖南省某城市道路中的应用。实践表明:1、SBS改性沥青混合料的压实度,表面渗水系数,以及构造深度和摩擦系数都能满足《公路沥青路面施工技术规范》(JTGF40-2004)的要求;2、SBS改性沥青在生产工艺上,除了在温度控制和拌和时间上有别于普通基质沥青,其他工艺流程与基质沥青相同,不需要更加复杂的施工设备,具有操作简单,易于施工等特点;3、SBS改性沥青混合料在高温稳定性、水稳定性和低温抗裂性方面都能满足规范要求,具有很好的适用性。
