In order to clarify the presence of HPV in smoke and dust during the CO2 laser treatment of condylomata acuminata, HPV6 and 11 DNA were detected by PCR in the samples of soot and tissue of patients with condyloma acuminatum. RESULTS: Of the 21 tissue masses, 19 were positive; none of the smear samples collected at 5 cm (21) and 50 cm (12) locations from the laser ablation site were positive. In the experiment, it was not found in the soot and different adsorbent materials (non-woven fabrics, gauze and lens paper) there is a substance that has an inhibitory effect on the HPV test. The results of this experiment suggest that when using high-power CO2 laser treatment of warts, no dust in the HPV, will not cause harm to the surrounding population.
