针对农田灌溉水窖的分布特点和定期巡检的要求,设计并开发了基于嵌入式地理信息系统、全球定位系统、通用分组无线服务技术和掌上电脑等技术的农田灌溉水窖巡检系统,实现了地图操作、定位导航、水窖巡检和数据传输等功能。该系统不仅可以提高巡检员的工作效率,还可以实现对农田灌溉水窖监测的数字化、科学化和规范化。
