Objective: To explore the effect of combining traditional Chinese and western medicine in inducing ovulation. Methods: From January 2008 to June 2009, 68 cases of anovulatory infertility admitted to our hospital were divided into treatment group and control group according to random sampling method. 36 cases in the treatment group and 32 cases in the control group. Control group with conventional treatment, the treatment group in the control group based on the treatment, combined with traditional Chinese medicine treatment. Using the Japanese Toshiba SSA-240A color Doppler ultrasound vaginal probe to monitor the two groups of patients with follicular discharge, calculate the follicle score. The number of dominant follicles, follicular development and follicular score in both groups were observed. Patients were followed up for 12 months, and the pregnancy rate and abortion rate were compared between the two groups. RESULTS: Compared with the daily growth of follicles and the mean diameter of mature follicles in the control group, the daily growth of follicles and the mean diameter of mature follicles increased significantly in the treatment group (P <0.05). Compared with control group, the number of dominant follicles and follicle score in treatment group were significantly higher (P <0.05). Compared with the pregnancy rate (15.6%) in the control group, the pregnancy rate (36.1%) in the treatment group increased significantly (P <0.05), and the abortion rate (8.3%) in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group (28.1% Decreased significantly (P <0.05). Conclusion: Induction of ovulation by Integrative Medicine can promote follicular development, which is instructive for the treatment of infertility.
