This article systematically reviews the latest research results and related experimental methods on the effects of increasing atmospheric CO2 concentration on the physiological and growth of trees at different levels of the world and at spatio-temporal scales. Including changes in enzymes at the cellular level; physiological responses at the leaf level; individual level growth, distribution of carbon and nitrogen, and interactions; future trends in the study of the effects of climate change on trees caused by increased atmospheric CO2 concentrations
