Most of the eastern petroliferous basins in China are the following Tertiary-Oligocene petroleum systems. Their geological conditions and sedimentary environment are favorable for the preservation and conversion of organic matter. According to the mathematical model of oil generation derived from the kerogen pyrolysis oil theory, a computer program of ALGOL-60 language was compiled and the above basins were calculated. According to the calculation results, the evolution of the third member source rocks in these basins is analyzed and discussed briefly.
