目前在自动线上广泛地采用螺旋输送器进行排屑。推动切屑的轴向分速度V_1的大小,影响到螺旋输送器的效率Q。对于立式和倾斜式螺旋输送器的轴向速度可以根据如下的等式来确定。 V_1=ω_0rsinαsinβ/sin(α+β)………………………………(1)式中:ω_0——螺杆转动角速度(1/秒);r——螺旋输速器壳体半径(米);α——螺旋线 升角(度);β——推动切屑的绝对速度方向和移送速度方向之间的夹角(度)。 由等式(1)可知,速度V_1是升角α的函数。格利戈里耶夫提出了能确保具有最大轴向推料速度,因而可以使螺旋输送器获得最高效率的外缘螺旋线升角的理论关系式: 对于卧式螺旋输送器 α卧=(45°-φ_1/2)………………………………( 2)
