针对嵌入式设备上实现H.264编码器实时视频压缩编码在视频监控系统、视频会议系统以及流媒体服务中有着重要的应用。文中针对TMS320C64xDSP核的并行处理技术特点,给出了H.264编码器在该硬件平台上的代码级并行优化方法,最后在对H.264编码器的几个耗时模块进行并行优化的基础上给出实验结果。实验表明,通过对几个耗时模块的并行优化,在保证无优化损耗的情况下,编码效率有明显的提高。
For embedded devices to achieve H.264 encoder real-time video compression coding in video surveillance systems, video conferencing systems and streaming media services has an important application. In this paper, according to the characteristics of parallel processing of TMS320C64x DSP core, the code-level parallel optimization of H.264 encoder is given. Based on the parallel optimization of several time-consuming modules of H.264 encoder, The experimental results are given. Experiments show that through the parallel optimization of several time-consuming modules, the coding efficiency is obviously improved without any optimization loss.
