我们党要密切同群众的血肉联系,毫无疑问必须通过自己的工作给人民群众带来看得见、摸得着的物质利益。正因为如此,我们始终抓住经济建设这个中心不放松,大力发展生产力。然而,人民群众所需要的决不仅仅是目前物质上的脱贫致富。我们的党作为人民群众的政治领袖,也决不能只为群众谋取眼前的利益,而应当在带领群众谋取现实物质利益的同时,运用科学理论武装群众,引导群众放眼更高的目标,为逐步实现长远的、根本的利益而奋斗。我们已经有了科学的理论,就是马列主义、毛泽东思想和邓小平同志建设有中国特色社会主义理论。邓小平同志一再提醒我们:“我们干的是社会主义事业,最终目标是实现共产主义。”“我们这些人的脑子里是有共产主义理想和信念的。要特别教育我们的下一代下两代,一定要有共产主义的远大理想。”“搞资产阶级 Our party must closely follow the flesh and blood of the masses and there is no doubt that we must bring visible and tangible material benefits to the people through our own work.
