含钡型球化剂系含钡、镁、稀土、钙等元素的复合球化剂。可用于处理冲天炉熔炼的常温高硫铁水和电炉熔炼的高温中、低硫铁水。该球化剂经无锡柴油机厂等几家工厂使用,证明有以下特点。1.球化处理稳定,镁回收率高该球化剂与国内常用的6~稀土硅铁镁中间合金相比,球化处理时,反应平稳、镁光较少,降低了因球化不良所造成的铸件废品率,镁回收率可高达60～70％左右,因而球化剂加入量可相应减少0.1～0.2％。
