构成英语句子复合结构的句型,除了定语从句和名词性从句以外,出现最广并常被使用的状语从句,贯穿了中学阶段英语学习的整个过程。高中阶段学生先后学习了不定式、现在分词、过去分词短语以及独立主格结构,和介词、形容词短语所做的状语,他们会混淆状语从句和各种短语所做的状语。本文从分析英语复合句式和简单句式的关系入手,来阐述状语从句的简缩,使学生在复习时掌握英语句子结构在状语从句中的变化规律。
The sentences that constitute the compound structure of English sentences, except for the attributive clause and the nominal clause, appear in the widest and often used adverbial clause, which runs through the whole process of secondary school English learning. Students in high school learn infinitives, present participles, past participle phrases, and independent nominative structures, and prepositions and adjective phrases. They confuse adverbials and various phrases. This article starts from the analysis of the relationship between English compound sentence patterns and simple sentence patterns to explain the reduction of adverbial clause so that students can master the change rules of English sentence structures in adverbials during the review.
