城镇小学生的阅读状况较农村小学生要好,他们有进行课外阅读的条件,可是大部分的城镇小学生进行的课外阅读少之又少。因此,明确课外阅读对城镇小学生身心发展的意义以及解决课外阅读存在的误区非常重要。首先,课外阅读的意义在于良好的课外阅读是课内学习的有益补充、课外阅读可以满足学生终身学习的需要、课外阅读可以促进学生的多方面发展三个方面;了解城镇小学生课外阅读活动的特殊之处,从功利性强、盲目性强、时间少三个方面阐述小学生课外阅读的主要误区,最后主要针对课外阅读的误区提出解决对策,主要包括营造氛围、拓宽渠道、转变观念、因势利导、劳逸结合。
