When the car drove into the boundary of Pu Wang Farm in Shandong Province, the gravel road replaced the asphalt road; but the gravel road was smooth and moist, and at first glance it seemed that it was a well-maintained road. Sitting in the car did not feel much bumpy, nor rolling dust flying. I first interviewed the Pu Wang farm, but did not taste some of the farm often give me the “Ma Wei.” This is a farm built on its own way. Mention this road, the field director told me that in the past was once a clay road, rugged; in case of rainy days, muddy difficult, not to mention the car cart can not go out, production is affected, that is difficult to walk foot. It is this road bothering some people have to leave this “ghost place.” When the new leadership took office in 1984, it expressed its determination at the general assembly of workers: “When people say there is no way out for the farm, let’s not call it a way out!”
