建国饭店是中国国际旅行社北京分社和美籍建筑师陈宣远为董事长的香港中美旅馆发展有限公司合资建造和经营的工程项目,陈宣远建筑事务所设计,北京市一建和设备安装公司施工,1980年7月动工,82年4月建成开业。
Jianguo Hotel is a joint-venture construction and operation project of the China International Travel Service Beijing Branch and the Hong Kong Sino-American Hotel Development Co., Ltd., the chairman of the American architect Chen Xuanyuan. It was designed by Chen Xuanyuan Architects, and was constructed by Beijing First Construction and Equipment Installation Company. 1980 Construction began in July and was completed in April of the year 82.
