A new study by PricewaterhouseCoopers pointed out that there will be more mergers and acquisitions in the global forest industry this year. There were 66 mergers in North America last year, involving an amount of 3.2 billion U.S. dollars, of which 47% were caused by the 2009 economic crisis.
