美国华裔文学在当今多元文化的背景下,已成为美国文学的一个重要组成部分和文化现象。其发展正经历着写作和欣赏视野的不断拓展,从边缘进而走向文化融合的变化。国内及港台学者在探讨美国华裔文学时,已开始有意识地结合当下文化研究的大趋势以及后殖民和少数族裔话语的理论背景。在这一潮流中去发现和探索当代美国华裔文学给大众带来的复杂的文化张力和民族记忆。本文试图以族裔身份和文化符号在美国华裔文学中的运用作为契入点,考察目前在美国华裔文学的创作中,作者怎样从族裔和文化的角度开始,又是怎样在这两种写作要素的裂变中去辩证思考。由此来深入探索华裔文学创作的生动表现和华裔文学研究的不断深化。
American Chinese literature has become an important part and cultural phenomenon of American literature in today’s multi-cultural context. Its development is experiencing continuous expansion of its writing and appreciation horizons, moving from the periphery to changes in cultural integration. In discussing Chinese American literature, domestic and Hong Kong and Taiwan scholars have begun to consciously combine the current trend of cultural studies with the theoretical background of post-colonial and minority discourse. In this trend to discover and explore the contemporary American Chinese literature to the public the complex cultural tension and national memory. This article tries to use ethnic identity and cultural symbols in Chinese American literature as a starting point to examine the current literature in the creation of American Chinese, how the author from an ethnic and cultural point of view, but also how these two kinds of writing Dialectical thinking in the fission of elements. In this way, the vivid exploration of Chinese literature creation and the deepening of Chinese literature research are explored.
