The natural killer (NK) activity of tumor-associated lymphocytes (TALs) from malignant tumors tends to be low or even absent, and its mechanism has two explanations. One is the presence of suppressor cells or factors, and the other is the decrease in the number of effector cells entering the tumor. This article studied the status of TAL and peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL) in 24 patients with pathologically confirmed epithelial ovarian cancer, 19 non-malignant, non-infectious gynaecological patients and 64 normal healthy adults aged at the same hospital age. Volunteers were used as controls to analyze the relationship between the natural killing activity of TAL and the number of effector cells identified by tumor local morphology. The authors used Ficoll-Hypegue density gradient centrifugation to separate 17 cases of ovarian cancer from ascites and 7 cases of ovarian solid tumors. Digested
