著名篆刻家周哲文、中国画家黎晓光应中国国际贸易促进委员会的邀请,一九八○年八月到十二月,前往日本金泽和美国作表演。两位艺术家的精湛技艺,受到日本和美国人民的热烈欢迎。在日本金泽市,每天从上午十时起,观众就排着长队等侯。为了买到一幅黎晓光的画,有人甚至连排四五天的队;还有的观众特意从几十里以外的富川县赶来参观。很多参观者买到了中国画以后,请画家在装画幅的盒子上签名留念。 Chow Ching-wen, a famous seal-cutting artist, and Chinese artist Li Xiaoguang, performed at the invitation of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade from August 1980 to December 1980 and went to Japan for their performances at Kanazawa and the United States. The skill of both artists was warmly welcomed by the Japanese and American people. In Kanazawa, Japan, the audience waits for a long queue every day from 10am. In order to buy a picture of Li Xiaoguang, some even had queues for four or five days; other audiences came to visit Fuchuan County, which was tens of miles away. After many visitors bought the Chinese painting, they invited the artist to sign the box on the painted frame.
