Objective To explore the status quo and existing differences of occupational pressure in a ministry. Methods Using random cluster sampling method, 1207 officers and men of a certain department were evaluated on “occupational stress scale of servicemen” to analyze the characteristics of their occupational stress. Results Among officers and soldiers surveyed, 41.59% of officers and men think they have occupational stress. One-way analysis of variance showed that there was a significant difference in marital and family factors between married and unmarried officers and men (F = 24.094, P <0.01). The personal development pressures of officers and soldiers in rural areas were greater than that of urban officers (F = 11.638, P <0.01) ; There were significant differences in occupational pressure among officers and soldiers in the three age groups (F = 14.054, P <0.01). Among them, the occupational pressure of officers and soldiers serving 5 to 10 years was significantly higher than that of officers and soldiers who served for 5 years; There was a significant difference (P = 4.95, P <0.01) in occupational stress among officers and men in positions where the occupational pressure of noncommissioned officers was greater than that of occupations. Multivariate stepwise regression analysis showed that military age and age had a significant impact on occupational stress among officers and men (P <0.01). Conclusion The overall occupational pressure of officers and soldiers in this test is in good condition, showing obvious characteristics of military age and job development. Based on the test results, certain measures can be taken to improve the sense of identity of officers and men in their careers.
