采用统计方法研究了波分复用(WDM)光网络中网络拓扑对同频串扰积累的影响。网络拓扑用两个参数描述:网络中节点数和网络连接度。在WDM光网络中,同频串扰由光交叉连接节点/光上下路节点(OXC/OADM)中非理想的光开关和复用器/解复用器引入,是使信号质量恶化的主要原因之一。结果表明:对于给定的网络规模,存在一个最佳的网络连接度可使同频串扰的积累最小,从而降低对光器件的要求。
The influence of network topology on the accumulation of co-channel crosstalk in wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) optical networks was investigated by using statistical methods. The network topology is described by two parameters: the number of nodes in the network and the degree of network connectivity. In WDM optical networks, co-channel crosstalk is introduced by non-ideal optical switches and multiplexers / demultiplexers in optical cross-connect nodes / OXC / OADMs, which is the main reason for the deterioration of signal quality one. The results show that for a given network size, there is an optimal degree of network connectivity that minimizes the accumulation of co-channel crosstalk, reducing the need for opto-devices.
