硫脲又名硫代脲素,分子式为(NH2)2CS,是白色斜方或针状光亮结晶体。味苦、可燃、相对密度1.046,熔点170~180℃,减压下150~160℃升华。溶于冷水、硫氰酸铵溶液和乙醇,几乎不溶于乙醚。工业上可用三种方法生产硫脲,一是硫代氰酸胺法、二是重氮甲烷法、三是石灰氮法、石灰氮法采用石灰氮和硫化氢气体,在合成釜内进行吸收合成
