From the perspective of drama art evolution, Chinese drama has experienced two awakenings in 50 years. 17 years after the founding of the People’s Republic of China marked by the awakening of national consciousness; the 23 years since the new period were marked by the awakening of innovative consciousness. The awakening of national consciousness embodies the strong desire of a country’s dramatist to create a national theater art school. In 1881, the Russian dramatist Ostrovsky was at one
