高质量的师资队伍是实现高等学校职能的决定性前提和基础。高校师资队伍建设包括教师个体素质和群体结构两方面。本文对中西高等学校的教师群体结构中的学缘结构的现状、优劣和形成机制作了描述和分析，并从借鉴欧美高校学缘结构建设的经验出发，从宏观管理体制、高校管理和具体操作三个层次提出改进措施
