将计算机和程控仪器,通过GP-IB接口及母线,连接成一套自动测试系统,从而实现测量及数据处理的自动化,是控制与测试(CAT)技术的一个主要内容。从原理上讲,装备有GP-IB接口卡和相应支持软件的微机都可以用来作为自动测试系统中的控者。然而,一般不是专门为CAT设计算机,其GP-IB接口管理语句,大多是用ASCⅡ字符或其数字代码表示接口消息的。用ASCⅡ字符或其代码编写测量软件时,需要事先查找出接口消息所对应的字符或代码,用起来很不方便,容易出错,而且编成的测试程序不简洁,可读性极差。
Control and Test (CAT) technology is a key component of the automation of measurement and data processing by connecting computers and programmable devices through a GP-IB interface and bus to an automated test system. In principle, a PC equipped with a GP-IB interface card and corresponding supporting software can be used as a controller in an automated test system. However, computers are generally not designed for CATs. Most of the GP-IB interface management statements use ASCII characters or their numeric codes to represent interface messages. When writing measurement software with ASCⅡ character or its code, you need to find out the character or code corresponding to the interface message in advance, which is very inconvenient to use and prone to error. Moreover, the compiled test program is not concise and the readability is extremely poor.
