On the east side of the center of Paris, in the 10th arrondissement there is a Saint-Martin canal. Its length and open landscape can be compared with the Champs Elysees Pastoral Avenue. The United States still retains water in the urban area. This is particularly worth cherishing. The large area where the canal flows through has a very good natural landscape. Three miles of sycamore and chestnut trees are planted along the coast. There are many small gardens that form a walking and rest area. The reconstruction plan of the Saint-Martin Canal Area places special emphasis on the comprehensive consideration of the unique and attractive landscape here, reflecting as far as possible its own unique style. Figure 4 shows the planning vision that integrates the landscape and functional requirements, while Figure 3 shows the current situation of the same lot. At present, there are more traffic on the canal than on the river. However, the traffic on the road is also very large and the traffic is endless. The steep slopes along the coast have been converted into parking lots, destroying the landscape on the riverfront and causing great inconvenience for the residents. For the canal itself, river and port activities should be replaced by new functions. Part of the water surface can be converted into a stadium - so that residents can directly contact with nature, there is water, there are trees, can rest and play here, in the air conditions
