(南京:译林出版社,2000年版)一、引言《当代西方翻译理论探索》一书由廖七一教授编著,2000年由译林版社出版。本书根据美国著名翻译理论家根茨勒(E.Gentzler)在其专著《当代翻译理论》(Contemporary TranslationTheories,1993)对于当今翻译理论的分类来进行分门别类的探索,对各个流派的主要代表人物的翻译理论思想做了简明扼要的介绍,并对一些主要翻译理论家的思想进行了比较。该书把西方翻译理论和英汉互译相结合,并对西方翻译理论做出了一些展望。本书为廖七一教授根据自己已有的学术积累以及相应的资料搜集,加上多年的翻译与实践研究编著而成。 (Nanjing: Yilin Press, 2000) I. The book combines Western translation theory with English-Chinese translation and makes some perspectives on Western translation theory.
