传统社会中,农民客观上是物质生产的主体,也是历史循环的推动力量。但模仿和宿命打击了他们作新的尝试的努力,清官意识满足了他们求保护的心理也剥夺他们自我代表和自我保护的权利从而冲淡了权利意识,大家庭给予他们温馨也把他们异化为家族绵延的工具,生存需要的不满足制约了主体的性质,神性是对人性的剥夺,均平有利于整体的存在也使张扬的个性毫无踪影。这些决定了传统农民的主体性距离独立的、自由个性的现代的主体性有很远的距离。
