Scientists at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center released a press release in Dallas on March 5, 2013, claiming for the first time in a model mouse carrying a human malignant tumor gene that tumorigenesis was inhibited successfully and that new mechanisms of tumorigenesis and therapeutic targets were found .
