This paper reports the results of the research on the influence of dredged mud discharge on the ecological environment in the waters near the water intake. The experiment is based on the dredging project of the Tai Pu River (Shanghai section). The results show that the most obvious effect of the drainage of the discharge site on the nearby waters is to increase the sediment concentration of the local reach, but after about 1.5 km of dilution, diffusion and nature After sedimentation, sediment concentration in water gradually tended to be normal; dredged mud had no significant effect on the hydrochemical properties in the water area. However, due to the increase of sediment concentration in some river sections, the decrease of transparency of river water affected the phytoplankton Growth and reproduction, the species and quantity of phytoplankton decreased. At the same time, the paper also put forward scientific countermeasures and suggestions for coordinating the relationship between river dredging engineering and industrial and agricultural production.
