从原型批评视角分析《少年派的奇幻漂流》中水的意象

由诺思洛普·弗莱所建立的原型批评理论将文学与神话连接起来,以西方神话为基础,以文学历史为背景,寻求人类文化心理的基本范型,包含着人类普遍意义的“原型”存在,这就使得文学作品得以深入人心,容易引起读者的思想和心理共鸣。本文就从原型批评的视角出发,深入分析探索了《少年派的奇幻漂流》中“水”的意象,从以下三个方面揭示影片中“水”深层的原型含义:生命的创造者,毁灭者以及净化性,以此来解释电影的主要场景为何会设在广阔无边的海洋上,影片又如何借助于暴风雨、湖泊和海洋来演绎一场人与自然既相互依存而又相互抗争的惊险传奇,从而实现了影片内容与主旨的完美统一。 The prototype criticism theory established by Northrop Frye connects literature and mythology. Based on the western mythology and based on the history of literature, the archetypal criticism theory seeks the basic paradigm of human cultural psychology and contains the universal meaning of human beings. Prototype “exists, which makes literary works can be deeply rooted in the hearts of people, easily lead to the reader’s thoughts and psychological resonance. From the perspective of prototype criticism, this article analyzes and explores the image of ”water “ in ”the fantasy drift of the youth school“ from the perspective of the prototype criticism and reveals the prototype meaning of ”water" in the film from the following three aspects: the creation of life Destroyer, and Purification in order to explain why the main scene of the movie is located in the vast boundless ocean. How can the movie use the storms, lakes and oceans to interpret a situation in which man and nature are interdependent and stand against each other? The legendary adventure, so as to achieve the film content and the perfect unity of the theme.
