This article describes a simple and convenient method for determination of vitamin E in fish liver by high pressure liquid chromatography. This method does not require saponification and thin layer chromatography, thus avoiding α-tocopherol destruction during sample processing. Approximately 0.5 g was taken from each of 3 to 4 fish livers and weighed. Samples were homogenized in 15 ml of dioxane-isooctane (20 + 80) for 1 minute. The homogenate is centrifuged at 10,000 rpm for 5 minutes. Suction 5 ml supernatant in 250 ml round bottom flask. The remaining supernatant was discarded and the pellet was homogenized with 15 ml of the mixture and centrifuged for 5 ml
