1981年以来,一种新的疾病在美国流行,引起了人们高度重视。这种疾病被称为“获得性免疫缺陷综合征(AIDS)”。到1983年8月,美国疾病控制中心记录在案的病例已达2000例,并以每周53例的速度增长。目前,已在美国的34个州和世界上15个国家发现本病患者,亚洲的日本也有本病报告。AIDS的特点是,细胞免疫有严重而不可逆的获得性缺陷,造成患者发生多发性机会感染和或有不常见的新生物如kabosi氏肉瘸。由于本病可能是由一种传染性病原引起通过粘膜接触和血液制品传播,死亡率高达38-82%,死亡例数
Since 1981, a new kind of disease has become popular in the United States, attracting great attention. This disease is called “Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).” By August 1983, the United States Centers for Disease Control recorded 2000 cases and grew at a rate of 53 cases per week. At present, the disease has been found in 34 states of the United States and 15 countries in the world, and Japan is also reported in Asia. AIDS is characterized by severe and irreversible acquired defects in cellular immunity resulting in multiple opportunistic infections in patients and with unusual new organisms such as kabosi’s meat.
