A large number of chemical analyzes of 48 samples from seven polymetallic sulphide hydrothermal sedimentation in the Eastern Pacific Ocean Seabed expansion center revealed the distribution of gold in volcanic massive sulphide deposits. Among the studied deposits, the Axial and Southern Explorer ridges have high gold content. The deposits are located in the older eruptions of the Axial seamount caldera and the rift and rift mouth along the Southern Explorer ridge. The host rocks are Basalt. The deposits are widely subjected to post-low-temperature hydrothermal fluids to form a low-temperature sulphide-sulphate-based mineral assemblage that is a mature massive sulphide deposit.
