英国GP-埃利奥特电子系统公司生产出了世界上第一台激光气体检测器——EAGLE型扫描式激光监测装置。仪器利用气体能吸收某一波长光能量的原理制成。它以两个CO_2激光器为光源,一个发射待测气体能吸收波长的光,另一个发射接近待测气体吸收波长的光,通过比较二束激光反射回来的光能差就可准确检测。
British GP-Elliot Electronics Systems has produced the world’s first laser gas detector - EAGLE scanning laser monitoring device. The instrument uses the principle that gas can absorb light energy at a certain wavelength. It uses two CO_2 lasers as the light source, one emitting the gas to be measured to absorb the light of the wavelength and the other emitting the light close to the wavelength of the gas to be measured, which can be accurately detected by comparing the light energy difference reflected from the two laser beams.
